Laigueglia (SV), Italy

No-profit space opened up within the walls of a tiny deposit in an ancient building next to the sea aimed to host exhibition, workshop and discursive events.
Due to the fact that this is a very active area from the point of view of tourist attraction but there is a total lack of opportunities for a continuative cultural and innovative exchange, this place is meant to be a departing point for experiences of social involvement linked to the suggestions offered by the artistic, architectural and editorial research. the idea is to develop a program of events for and with the people who live in these places capable of having a wide resonance, in which to be able to decline in a specific (small and characterized) context more international experiences.

Scambio Mite
by Gabriele Boretti
Scambio mite is the first exhibition hosted by Stanza Rada.
Recalling the biblical episode of the sanctification of the temple by Jesus, this allowed the artist to reflect on the boundary and on the meaning of sacred and profane by introducing elements related to the chapel into the space in conjunction with those extraneous to the liturgical sphere (such as color blue). The installation also required the participation of the traders from laigueglia who lent us their articles to compose the central cross.
